Our Heritage
Established in 1978, Bonds Backyard Layers has been at the forefront of poultry breeding for over 40 years.
Founded by the Bond family, our commitment to quality and excellence has made us a trusted name in the industry.
Our main hatchery and breeding farm is located near Toowoomba, Queensland, on a 160-acre farm isolated by a minimum of 10 km from other commercial poultry operations, ensuring the highest biosecurity standards.
Our Expertise
Led by Dr. Jeffrey Moth, one of Australia’s leading poultry geneticists, our breeding programs incorporate both Australian and imported bloodlines.
Dr. Moth’s extensive experience and dedication have resulted in the development of superior breeds such as Siro-CT, Siro-CB, Hy-Line Gold layers, and Rochedale Hywate broiler.
Our advanced genetic programs focus on producing high-performance breeding and commercial lines with exceptional production, health, and behavioural characteristics.
